My career has followed a multi-disciplinary path with specialties including business strategy, organisational leadership, strategic marketing, business development, product innovation and development, negotiating, business planning, forecasting, market research, managerial finances, general management, financial modelling, brand and pricing strategies, go-to-market strategy, category management, analytics, public relations and communications, commercial management, operations, production, competitive analysis and people management.

I believe my passion for product development, sales and marketing, finance, production, logistics and operations underpinned by my people-centered focus, is essential to the success of any business.

I am a registered Chartered Accountant and have more than 25 years' experience in leading teams in various industries.  Strategically steering Netstar’s financial function is a deep passion of mine. I’ve been part of the executive committee for over 16 years, and I enjoy being an integral part of the Netstar journey. Finance is not only about numbers; navigating finance requires a deep understanding and involvement of the business in relation to its strategic direction. My involvement in our organization is a constant and fulfilling practice for me as it also contributes towards the culture of success we curate.  

I am an admitted attorney and a seasoned legal professional with over 20 years post-admission experience in commercial and corporate law, primarily acquired during my tenure at Netstar. Additionally, I have practised as a conveyancer and have gained experience in the insurance industry. I hold a Masters degree in commercial law, a certificate in compliance management and have completed the Executive Development Programme at Wits Business School.  

I have been an immensely proud member of the Netstar family for almost 20 years, where I continue to be challenged and remain committed to its success. I see myself as a strategic business partner, ensuring the organisation’s resilience through my daily responsibilities, which focus on legal and regulatory compliance, risk mitigation and sound governance practices, while considering all stakeholders, especially our valued customers. 

I am equally passionate about diversity, community, societal and environmental issues and the positive impacts the organisation can make, which I am excited to lead and be a part of in driving Environmental, Social and Governance (ESG), BBBEE and Employment Equity.

Before joining Altron, I was CEO of Dimension Data Middle East and Africa. During my 22 years there, I served in various roles, from leading high-performing regions to steering the growth ambitions of Dimension Data's parent company, NTT.

I have a law degree from the Nelson Mandela Metropolitan University, a Master's degree in Business Leadership from the Unisa School of Business and a global leadership development certification from the IMD Business School in Lausanne, Switzerland.
