You will be logged out of the system, and will not be able to use it until you accept the T's and C's.
The numbers you see on the map represent the number of vehicles in that area, this is to prevent the map from being cluttered with too much information, as you zoom in you will notice that the groups break up into smaller groups or the individual vehicles. You can set the settings for your user name to display or group the vehicles at a higher or lower zoom level to suite your requirements. This can be done in the "My Settings" menu item inside the "Settings" Menu item which is in the "My Menu" Menu.
Your username has been configured to open on the dashboard. If yu would prefer it to open on the tracking screen please request this from Toyota and it will be configured accordingly.
If the vehicle is inside a location that has been set up on the system, the name of that location will be used as the address instead of the road name. If the vehicle is not inside a location, then the road name will be used.
You can click on the little icon on the top of any widget to move it to where you want it.
It will only change this layout for your username, so no one else can change it.
There is a gear icon on the top right hand corner of the screen, click on it to add or remove widgets.
This will require that your company opts in for a VAS service with Netstar. Then this feature will become available.
These blocks show you how many vehicles are in each status. Tou can click on the blocks to see filter the vehicles in that status (at the time you clicked it.)
Green - Moving Vehicles moving.
Yellow - Idle Vehicles idling.
Red - Stopped Vehicles stopped (ignition off).
blue - Inactive Vehicles that have not reported in the last 6 hours.
Light grey - No Data Vehicles that have bee added to the system, bit have not reported in since they were added.
Grey - Total Remove filter (see all vehicles).
There are two scenarios where the vehicle will not show when clicked on:
If the checkbox next to the vehicle is not checked.
If the vehicle has not reported to the system since it was added.
There are various ways, the most simple is type in the Registration number or VIN into the search bar of the vehicle list (just below the coloured boxes). Click on the filter (funnel shaped) icon at the top right hand corner of the vehicle list
There is an option to filter by a branch if branches are set up and vehicles allocated
There is an option to filter by device type - will not be useful as you will only have two device types on the system.
There is an option to filter by a types, this is for vehicle types e.g. car, pickup etc.
There is an option to filter by a mode. You will only be able to configure the modes if your company has opted for a VAS service with Netstar.
There is an option to filter by a validity, this will only work if you have set licence expiries for the vehicles.
If you hover your mouse over the image, you will see two options:
Upload: Click here to upload a photo you have saved on your computer.
Expand: Click here to see a larger image of the photo.
On the right of the screen, just before the vehicle details panel is a panel of icons. The one that looks like two pins with a string between them (5th from the top) is the one to use. It has 4 options that you can switch on or off:
Actual Path: When checked, it draws a line behind the vehicle for the travel done today.
Stoppage: When checked, shows all the places that the vehicle stopped with ignition off.
Idle: When checked, shows all the places that the vehicle was idling.
Alerts: When checked shows where vehicles generated alarms (if configured).
The system only supports the allocation of default drivers. You need to add the drivers (settings => General => Driver). When you add the driver you can configure which vehicle the driver will be driving (default object number)
Before any alarms are raised they need to be configured according to our requirements. (Settings => Genral => alerts) Click on the + button to add a new alert and configure it to suite your requirements. You can select to apply the alarms for:
Individual vehicles
All vehicles
Vehicle groups
Vehicle types
You can select to notify users in the following ways:
In app notifications with the option for sound.
Email to one or more recipients (comma delimited between email addresses)
SMS to one or more recipients (comma delimited between the phone numbers).
You may select more than one of the above options for notifications.
Toyota vehicles are Pre-fitted with a Wi-Fi enabled tracking device, you can activate the unit for Wi-Fi, or top up the data bundles for the Wi-Fi by clicking on this menu item and then working with the screen that is opened when you do so.
