Technology top 100 award
The Technology Top 100 (TT100) is South Africa's foremost business excellence awards programme. The programme was started in 1991 by Professor Ray Marcus. This year it enters its 15th year of existence with a well established brand and sound market credibility .The Technology top 100 award is granted to small, medium and large organisations in recognition of their unique ability to use technology to achieve more effectively their own objectives.
The Technology Top 100 accolade was introduced to allow for recognition of enterprises which are highly innovative and display great technology potential, and serves as the mark of excellence for the role-models in the management of technology and innovation.
Altech Netstar has been a TT100 nominated company for seven years in a row now from 1999 to 2005.
Additionally Altech Netstar won the category of Large Enterprise, Information and Communications Technology, Hardware in 2003. New product development and innovation as well as the company's financial performance and growth are evaluated for such an award. The standard of entries was very high and thus Altech Netstar can rightfully take pride in the knowledge of achieving this prestigious level of recognition.
Altech Netstar was also awarded a further honour - "Platinum TT100 Status", for maintaining the TT100 standard of excellence for the last 5 consecutive years.
